Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Elyall, who is struggling with a porn addiction. We lift up Elyall to you, knowing that you are a God of mercy and grace. We ask that you would strengthen Elyall in their resolve to break free from this addiction and to turn away from every known sin.
Lord, we know that you desire purity and holiness in our lives. Your Word teaches us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we are called to flee from sexual immorality . We ask for your guidance and wisdom in overcoming this addiction and finding freedom in Christ.
We also ask for clarity and understanding regarding the question of masturbation. Your Word does not explicitly address this topic, but it does teach us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. We pray that you would grant Elyall discernment and conviction in this matter, leading them to make choices that align with your will.
Lord, we know that breaking free from addiction is not easy, but we believe in the power of your Holy Spirit to transform lives. We ask for your strength to resist temptation, your grace to forgive and heal, and your love to surround Elyall during this journey of recovery.

You've taken a good step in humbling yourself, confessing it and asking for prayer and wisdom. The actual word for pornography in Greek is almost the same as English and means at the very least sex outside of marriage (even with yourself). There were two trees in the garden, one forbidden and the other legal (we could eat from the tree of life). Oddly, The New Testament prescribes marriage as the way to deal with unquenchable lust (God's ideal from the beginning). I pray God sets you in a position and with a person you may share your life, wishes, plans and intimacy. May you feel forgiveness from Jesus who died for your particular sins (even that one), and be empowered to "build up your mind with other, better things. You can strengthen the muscle to resist, confession each time helps it weaken, and again, God's answer, is marriage. It may take years to get there but there is no guilt associated with intimacy anymore. God bless in Jesus' Name.
