Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of our dear friend who is seeking your guidance and help. We lift up their friend who has an avoidant attachment style and experiences anxiety when it comes to getting close to others. Lord, you know the innermost thoughts and fears of our hearts, and we ask that you bring healing and peace to their friend's life.
Father, we understand that our friend desires to publicly wish their friend a happy birthday, but they are concerned about causing anxiety and potentially damaging their relationship. We ask for your divine intervention in this situation. Help our friend to find the right words and actions that will bring joy and happiness to their friend's birthday celebration without triggering anxiety or fear.
Lord, we know that you are the God of comfort and understanding. Your Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We pray that you would calm the anxious thoughts and fears of their friend, replacing them with a sense of peace and security.
Grant our friend wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Help them to be sensitive to their friend's needs and emotions, and guide them in finding the best way to express their birthday wishes in a way that will bring joy and not anxiety.
Lord, we also pray for their friendship. May it be strengthened and deepened, rooted in love, understanding, and acceptance. Help their friend to see the genuine care and concern that our friend has for them, and may it foster a deeper connection between them.
We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are able to work in this situation. We thank you in advance for the peace and harmony that you will bring. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you and guide you as you seek to bless your friend on their birthday.
