Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Matheinos. We thank you for the opportunity he had to attend his hearing, and we lift up his request for a good letter to come in the mail. Lord, we ask that you would intervene in this situation and bring forth good news when the letter arrives.
Your Word reminds us of the power of prevailing prayer, and we stand on the promise that you hear our prayers and answer them according to your will. In Philippians 4:6, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." We present this request before you, trusting that you are able to bring about a positive outcome.
Just as the mother in the story prayed fervently for her long-lost son and received an answer after many years, we believe that you are a God who hears and answers prayers. We ask that you would grant Matheinos the desire of his heart and bring forth good news through the letter he is expecting.
We also pray for your peace to surround Matheinos during this waiting period. Help him to trust in your perfect timing and to find comfort in knowing that you are in control. May he find strength and encouragement in your Word, as it says in Psalm 27:14, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for the assurance that you are working all things together for the good of those who love you. We commit this prayer request into your hands, trusting that you will bring about a positive outcome according to your perfect plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
