I had applied to some PhD programs but unfortunately only got into one (the current school I am at). My original plan was to go back home to ### to be with my mom, the only thing that came up was an offer for a master's program back in ###. However, the PhD program is fully funded and the master's program is not (I would need to take out a loan). At this moment I am really confused and not sure which decision is best for me. I think I am also a little afraid of doing a PhD when I know I shouldn't be afraid of anything since God is with me. My mom has also been wanting to leave ### for some time now since it's very costly to live there and said she will move with me to support me during my PhD. I ask that you pray for me to receive heavenly discernment on the best choice I should make for myself and my family. If it's God's will I stay at my current school I ask that you also pray for me to find a good laboratory I can work in. Thank you for taking the time to read my prayer request.

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking guidance and discernment regarding their academic path. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the source of all wisdom and understanding. Your word reminds us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will generously give it to them.

We lift up ###'s desire to pursue a PhD program and their uncertainty about whether to stay at their current school or pursue a master's program back in New York. We pray that you would grant them clarity and discernment in making this decision. Help them to align their desires with your perfect will for their life.

Lord, we ask for your guidance in providing the necessary resources and financial provisions for ###'s academic journey. If it is your will for them to pursue the PhD program, we pray for opportunities for funding and scholarships to alleviate any financial burdens. We trust in your provision, knowing that you are our provider and sustainer.

We also lift up ###'s mother and her desire to support them during their PhD program. If it is your will for them to stay at their current school, we pray for a smooth transition and for your guidance in finding a good laboratory for their research. May their academic pursuits bring glory to your name and be a testimony of your faithfulness.

Lord, we declare that fear has no place in ###'s heart, for you are with them. Your word assures us in Joshua 1:9 that you are with us wherever we go and that we should not be afraid or discouraged. Strengthen their faith and grant them peace as they trust in your guidance.

We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness in guiding ###'s academic journey. May they continue to seek your will and trust in your plans for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name to protect me, the writer of this prayer, my family, and friend’s homes, electronic devices, bank accounts, and credit card accounts. God protect our homes, phones, computers, and tablets so that no one will be able to break in or hack into any of our devices. Stop anyone who would try to steal our identities, credit card information, bank information, or any personal information that is stored on these devices. God destroy all the equipment that these people are using to try to get this information. Uncover and let them be arrested. Have someone in jail minister salvation unto them. God protect all that You have blessed each of us with. And show each of us how to protect our homes and personal information on our devices also.
