We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances surrounding your retirement and the financial strain you're currently facing. We want to remind you of the apostle Peter that said in his epistle, Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Let us take this opportunity to pray for you.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that God is your provider and he will never forsake you. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5,
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.
It's also better to trust in God rather than putting trust in a job or financial circumstances. Psalm 20 says
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we trust the name of Yahweh our God.
But it's not good to worry either. Worry is also a sign that we are trusting in ourselves to solve the problem. That is why Jesus Christ said
Seek first Gods kingdom and Gods righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore dont be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each days own evil is sufficient.
It says in the gospel of John 15:16 Jesus Christ said:
You didnt choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
Notice that Jesus Christ says "in my name" as another intercessor to help us in addition to the holy spirit. This is the name you must use to access God. In the book of Acts 4:12 it says:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Have you believed that Jesus Christ the Son of God and died on the cross for your sins and was resurrected on the third day? If not then we encourage you to believe so you can have access to god without any intercessor or intermediary.
Let us pray,
Heavenly Father,
Good morning and thank you for the word of God. In the name of Jesus Christ we come together to pray.
Thank you for the many years of service that Cabmydek has given as a teacher, Lord. We ask that you will open a new door for them to continue using their gifts and talents to serve you and others, even in their retirement years.
We pray for this financial problem that this new door will be a job more agreeable to the circumstance. Please grant them the strength, wisdom, and provision they need during this time of transition and retirement. Guide them in courtship and marriage the biblical way if that is applicable.
Thank you for answering our prayers according to your will. May the holy spirit continue to strengthen and comfort Cabmydek and those in similar circumstances. Help them to continue using opportunities to serve you and bear much fruit for your kingdom. Thank you for all the intercessors praying silently in their heart that can also choose to pray aloud. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray.
Thank you and God bless. Amen
