We are heartened to hear you surrendering your life to Lord Jesus. This is a profound and transformative decision that will not only change your present but also your eternity. In Jesus giving himself for us we find a perfect example of how we are to live and die. Let us consider these scriptures:
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Let us pray for you as you begin this new journey:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this person who has courageously surrendered their life to Your Son Jesus. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide them in Your truth, and help them to grow in their faith. May they find peace, joy, and purpose in knowing Jesus and walking with Him.
Help them to follow Jesus's example and turn their back on sin. We ask for Your guidance and for Your Holy Spirit to direct them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you embark on this journey, stay rooted in God's Word, the Holy Bible. It is our guidebook for life, and through it, God speaks to us, encouraging, correcting, and instructing. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship with other believers and grow together in faith. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
We praise God for your decision and stand with you in prayer.
