I get these emails from Dr. Gary Chapman's 5 love languages site... This is one that I received a while back.

Knowing someone's primary love language is helpful to discover what fills his/her love tank, as well as what depletes it. Often, our greatest areas of sensitivity are connected to our primary love language. When someone speaks the opposite of that language, our love tank depletes more quickly and we are often left feeling hurt. For example, although cutting words never feel good, if a parent speaks disparagingly to a child whose love language is Words of Affirmation, it will wound that child more deeply than the child whose primary love language is Acts of Service. Therefore, we need to make an effort not only to speak the primary love language of those we care about but also to forsake its opposite.
In light of this, this week we shared a few things to avoid for each of the primary love languages%u2014you'll find them below. My hope is that they will help you fill, and not deplete, the love tank of others.

God created me with very strong love languages of Physical Affection and Quality time and yet I've been denied those things for almost 40 years... The older I get the more alone I get, the more people go about there own lives and ignore me. God knows and yet He does nothing to fulfill these things... Every hope, every dream, and every good desire HE has denied me, too much time has gone by for me to ever see those things fulfilled... I've waited and waited and waited and hoped and hoped and hoped in Him only to be bitterly and utterly disappointed... My life is complete and utter hell and I just don't have any hope anymore that anything will ever get any better...
Please pray that God will at least have a little mercy on me and show me even a tiny bit of grace...
