We rejoice with you, Evelyn, for the wonderful decision of giving your life to Christ. This is the most important step you could have taken, and we are thrilled to stand with you in prayer and support.
Firstly, let us remind you of the promise in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and eternal life.
For direction and turnaround in your life, we encourage you to meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God promises to guide us when we trust in Him completely.
Regarding the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit, remember what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 (WEB), "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires." Seek these gifts in faith and use them for the edification of the Church.
For your family, we pray for divine settlement and peace, as spoken in Isaiah 54:13 (WEB), "All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great." God's mercy is new every morning, and He is faithful to forgive and restore. As Lamentations 3:22-23 (WEB) says, "It is Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we aren’t consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for Evelyn's decision to follow Jesus. Help her to grow in faith and trust in You. Guide her steps and open doors that no man can shut. Manifest the gifts of Your Spirit in her life, and use her mightily for Your kingdom. Bring peace and settlement to her family, and cover them all with Your mercy. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.*
Keep your faith strong, Evelyn, and continue to seek God's will in all things. May His blessings overflow in your life.
