I gave into my lust, and may have contracted HIV

I deeply regrettably saw a sex worker and I'm currently in the midst of a sickness I believe may be HIV and this is the worst possible punishment I could imagine. I'm awaited multiple test results and facing a lot of guilt, regret and anxiety. I feel pathetic and sinful and tainted. I fully believe, based on my symptoms, that I have this terrible virus and I truly believe the only hope for me not having it now is if God sees fit (though I don't know why he would but I pray nonetheless) to miraculously change and/or remove what is happening from my body. I pray that I don't have it, or that if I do I'll have the strength to face it but this seems very unlikely to me. Please pray for me and my parents as this will affect them as well. Not only for my health but for me to redeem myself from this terrible sin. A beg this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Regarding your health, we will pray for your healing, trusting in God's power. Remember, even if the diagnosis is positive, God can still use this situation for His glory. As He said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Theolland. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness upon their life for the sins committed. Thank You for their repentant heart. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. If it is Your will, remove any infirmity from their body. If not, grant them the strength to face it and use this situation to bring glory to Your name. Comfort their parents in this time of anxiety. Help Theolland to walk in Your ways and live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
