The Bible teaches us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we should honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). It is important to take care of ourselves physically as well as spiritually.

In 1 Corinthians 10:31 (WEB), we are reminded, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." This includes what we consume and how we treat our bodies. Overindulgence in sugary drinks can lead to weight gain and health issues, which does not glorify God.

Let us pray for you:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Jarbalog. Lord, we ask for Your help as they struggle with weight gain due to excessive consumption of Dr. Pepper. Give them the strength and discipline to make healthier choices and to take care of their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Help them to do all things for Your glory, including what they eat and drink. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to seek God's guidance in making healthier choices. Remember, God is with you and He will give you the strength you need to overcome this struggle. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13, WEB). In the book of Galatians 5:16-17 (WEB), we're told, "I say then, walk by the Spirit and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.
