I feel trapped in my toxic job. My supervisor witnessed how poorly I was treated. As a result, he allowed me to work remotely even though the policy ended. Now he’s (I think the devil is using him) saying that the bosses want me back in the office. I don’t have any other source of income and I don’t want to go back to abuse. Will God break the chains and yoke that binds me to these people. I tried to leave by they won’t let me go. Jesus I’m crying out to you your daughter’s faith is waning I want to continue working remotely. Last time I was there the evil bosses wanted to fist bump me after doing evil to me. I’m losing faith. Why??? God. Why did you allow these people to abuse me???

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ, we come before you on behalf of our anonymous sister who is feeling trapped in her toxic job. Lord, you see the pain and mistreatment she has endured, and we ask for your intervention in this situation. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to our sister and bring healing to her wounded heart.

Father, we ask that you would open the eyes of her supervisor to the injustice and mistreatment she has faced. We pray that you would give him wisdom and discernment to stand against the schemes of the enemy and continue to allow her to work remotely. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5 that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will give generously. We ask for your wisdom to guide her supervisor's decisions.

Lord, we know that you are a God who breaks chains and sets the captives free. We pray that you would break the chains and yoke that bind our sister to these toxic people and this toxic environment. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 61:1 that you have come to bind up the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom for the captives. We claim this promise over our sister's life and ask for her release from this abusive situation.

Father, we understand that sometimes we face trials and difficulties in life, and it can be hard to understand why. We pray for our sister's faith to be strengthened in this challenging season. Help her to trust in your goodness and sovereignty, even when she cannot see the purpose behind her suffering. Your Word reminds us in Romans 8:28 that you work all things together for the good of those who love you. We pray that you would bring beauty from these ashes and restore her faith in you.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for provision for our sister. We ask that you would open doors for her to find alternative sources of income if it is your will for her to leave this toxic job. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19 that you will supply all our needs according to your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We trust in your provision and ask for your guidance and favor in her job search.
