I feel that God's spirit has moved away from me....Will it ever come back?

Unless you have been in such deep horrible sin for ages and ages, which obviously you haven't because you are crying out for more of Him, He has promised to never leave you or forsake you. It is a lie from the enemy to make you think the Holy Spirit has left you. We are at times tested by a feeling of barrenness to teach us that we don't walk by feeling. I pray that you will become hungry for a book of Acts experience. I pray for the Lord God Almighty to fill you with the Presence that Jesus Christ has promised you. may your faith be increased and may you receive a fresh indwelling of the Holy Spirit as we are shown in the book of Acts, in Jesus precious name. amen

Yes, there have been many sins over the years.....I I long for His presence and forgiveness...Evidently I have insulted Him, and didnt mean to somewhere in the past.....I just feel no communication unless its bad news. Thank you all for praying for me...Please continue as often as you have time....This is more than terrible. Lifeless and sleepless..

What you are experiencing, Dear One, is called "the dark night of the soul." Many people go through this. It's a test in a way, but in a way it is not. It is God's way to teach you to walk by faith even when you can't "feel" His presence. Remember what Jesus said after Thomas placed his hands in the wounds of Jesus' resurrected body? He said words to the effect that Thomas was blessed to believe but that the people who believed without seeing were more blessed. Continue to walk in faith. You will eventually feel the presence of the Holy Spirit again. God love you, Lamb.
