Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our dear friend who is feeling lonely and unprotected in their new town. Lord, you are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. We ask that you would surround our friend with your love and protection, filling their heart with peace and assurance.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be careful for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God: and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." We pray that our friend would cast all their cares upon you, knowing that you care for them and will provide for their needs.
Father, we ask that you would bring positive and healthy changes into our friend's life. Guide them to find a supportive community, where they can build meaningful relationships and find comfort in their new surroundings. Help them to discover resources and opportunities that will contribute to their well-being and happiness.
We also pray for your divine protection over our friend. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:4, "He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you shall take refuge; his faithfulness shall be your shield and buckler." May they find solace in knowing that you are their ever-present protector, guarding them from harm and danger.
Lord, we lift up this prayer request to you, trusting in your faithfulness and love. May our friend experience your presence in a tangible way, knowing that they are never alone. Grant them strength, courage, and a renewed sense of hope as they navigate this new chapter of their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
