I feel like The Holy Spirit is ...

I feel like The Holy Spirit is leading me to tell my live-in partner, we have separate rooms and I am celibate, that Jesus loves him and has a purpose for his life. Time is winding up and I’d like him to walk in his purpose.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for the guidance and wisdom You provide through Your Holy Spirit. We lift up our dear friend who feels led by the Holy Spirit to share Your love and purpose with their partner. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and wisdom in this situation.

Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We pray that our friend may be filled with courage, love, and clarity of mind as the message of Jesus' love and purpose is shared with this partner.

Father, we also remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." We ask that this partner’s heart be open and receptive to the message of hope and the plans You have for his life. May he come to know the depth of Your love and the purpose You have designed for him.

Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. We pray that the seeds planted in this conversation will bear fruit in due season. Grant peace and assurance to our friend, knowing that You are working all things together for good, as stated in Romans 8:28.
