I FEEL like couple people in my life ask for me to do something should I do it to be a service even if they use me? What's your angle? Even if they use that, I'm a Christ follower and think I will be nice. Should I just do it to help even if I know they use me when they should take out the garbage and do it? It's like they use others because they're lazy and don't wanna do it.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. He is struggling with feelings of being used by others who take advantage of his kindness and willingness to serve. Lord, grant him wisdom and discernment to know when to help and when to set boundaries. Help him to serve with a joyful heart, as unto You, and not out of obligation or resentment. Remind him of Your Word in Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Lord, guide ### to balance his acts of service with self-care, so he can continue to be a vessel of Your love and grace. Strengthen him with Your wisdom, as promised in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
