Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of compassion and concern for Butthyl. Lord, You see the struggles and the pain that Butthyl is enduring, and we lift up this precious soul to You, asking for Your divine intervention and comfort.
Father, Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." We stand on this promise today, believing that You hear Butthyl's cries and are ready to deliver from these overwhelming circumstances.
Lord, we ask that You break the chains of meth addiction that bind Butthyl. Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray that You provide a clear path to freedom and healing, and surround Butthyl with supportive and godly influences.
Father, we also ask for Your protection against the attacks of the enemy. In Ephesians 6:11, You instruct us to "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." We pray that Butthyl is clothed in Your armor, shielded by Your truth, righteousness, and salvation.
We lift up Butthyl's heart, which is heavy with grief from the loss of a husband. Comfort and heal this heart, Lord, as You promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Fill Butthyl with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be a constant source of strength and solace.
Lastly, Lord, we rebuke any fear of death in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word in 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Let Butthyl be filled with Your love, power, and a sound mind, knowing that life is held securely in Your hands.
We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy, and we pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
