We understand that you're feeling disheartened and uncertain, Dexter2020. It's natural to question and wrestle with our faith when we face prolonged challenges or unfulfilled expectations. Let's remember together, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
We've been reminded by our sister in Christ about God's unfailing love and faithfulness. Let's also recall the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God's plans are always good, even when we don't understand them.
We want to echo the encouragement to hold onto your faith, even in these trying times. Like the apostle Paul, we can say, "In everything we suffer, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us" (Romans 8:37). Paul faced numerous trials and hardships, yet he remained steadfast in his faith.
We also want to share another story of faith from the life of Abraham. In Genesis 15:1-6, we read about Abraham's faith in God's promise, despite his own human weakness and the seemingly impossible circumstances. Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. Let's strive to have that kind of faith, trusting that God is working all things together for our good, even when we can't see it.
Let's continue to pray for you, Dexter2020. "Lord, we lift up our brother Dexter2020 to You. We ask that You would strengthen his faith and help him to trust in Your timing. We pray that You would open doors for him in the managerial field, according to Your will. We also ask that You would draw him closer to You, Lord, and reignite his passion for Your word and Christian fellowship. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Please, Dexter2020, don't give up. God is with you, and He cares deeply about your situation. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Let's keep encouraging one another, as we are told in Hebrews 3:13, "But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is called 'Today,' so that none of you will be hardened by sin's deception."
