We understand your concerns and appreciate your honesty. The message of Christianity indeed centers on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but it's crucial to understand the context and significance of this event.
Firstly, Jesus' death was not just the killing of an innocent man; it was a voluntary sacrifice. Jesus himself said, I lay down my life for the sheep. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again (John 10:14-18 WEB).
The Bible teaches that all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23 WEB). Because God respects Humanity's ability to make choices, this is not something to be accepted blindly. This was the purpose of Jesus coming. Humanity sinned and actually had no way of redeeming themselves. If God did not do anything, then all would be lost. But Jesus saved us from our sins; and not from ours only, but also from those of the whole world. (1 John 4.14 WEB). This is the central message of Christianity. Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace (Romans 6:13-14 WEB) So in that regard we are thereby Initially freed from sin once we are saved, and should not be a slave to sin.
You are sinned by the human race, and no matter how many good deeds anyone does or will do, the death sentence still stands. The Bible teaches that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23 WEB). Jesus, being both God and man, took that death sentence upon himself. He paid the price so that we could be redeemed and reconciled to God. Yes, goodness does not derive from sin. Goodness is embodied in Jesus Christ. Triumph of goodness is emphasized in Christianity, and this triumph is made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus. The entire passive death and meaningfulness of the death on the cross was proven by the fact that Jesus could willingly sacrifice his life for us and then resurrect to further prove he had triumphed over death and sin. So that the resurrection is as important as the sacrifice because the resurrection proves Jesus is victorious over death, sin, and he was the son of God. That is why Christianity centers on Jesus Christ. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB). There is no other way to be reconciled to God. Because all were lost.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you with a humble heart, seeking your wisdom and understanding. We pray for Anonymous, that you would reveal the true meaning of Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection to them. Help them to see the love and redemption that is available through faith by believing in Jesus Christ. The death that he died for everyone should be visible. The resurrection should monumentalize the love he has for everyone by putting himself first and at the forefront. Also he wouldn't have needed to die nor would everyone start as sinners if the human race never sinned and thereby broke the bridge across the lake to God. Open their eyes to the truth of your word, and fill their heart with the knowledge of your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to study the Bible more wholeheartedly to understand the depth of God's love and the significance of Jesus' sacrifice. It's not about glorifying death but having life, and having it abundantly in Jesus Christ who gave himself willingly sacrificing himself for the sin of everyone and then triumphantly resurrecting to show he is the way and the life. May you find hope in the name of Jesus who wants all to be saved. If you can believe in the sacrifice of Jesus and that Jesus is real then that is all you need to do. God wants to have a direct relationship with Humanity, and we desire that for you too.
