I will pray with you. I am sorry you feel that Catholic's do not seem very Christian to you. I not sure how long you have been a Catholic or if you were brought up this wonderful faith. They are usually very simple people that live a very devoted life in silence with their families. Many are so devoted to Our Lord, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit etc...they pray in silence, by themselves, with their families and in groups in either daily prayers and in mass or weekly on Sunday at mass. There is so many organizes in the Church that you can work with from helping the poor to helping someone rebuild their home after a disaster, to helping those overseas with sickness or helping with other faiths in building schools, hospitals, and churches. The Catholics will not put on a show with screaming minsters on the alter, but will teach you by examples from readings out of the bible or other readings. You will find many readings to help broaden your mind and knowledge and many good Catholics will do readings and researching on their own, or to assist at mass services & events. You will also find many churches are offering seminars (readings, bible study, reviewing of your faith, teachings to enlighten your mind about Jesus's life & his teachings, exposing you to reviewing the Sacraments of the Church. Then their is Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament! What a wonderful quality time to spend with other Christians like yourself in the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ and to talk to our Lord in person in prayer. Everyone their is in the same frame of mind to speak and ask for help and guidance and giving thanks in Our Lords Presences. Remember like anything in life, You get what you want out of something by what you put into it. Step up to the plate and ask your Paster for some of the activities that you can enjoy with other Christian. You will see, how many good Cahtolic Christians they really have out there. God Bless you and enjoy yourself with your new friends that believe. Peace!
