We join you, Katagelyteros, in thanksgiving for the salvation we have in Jesus Christ and for the countless graces and miracles He has bestowed upon our lives. We are assured that God knows your situation and that you can confidently come to Him for guidance and help.
Concerning your relationship with Eric, we pray that communication between the two of you will be open and honest. May your conversations be rooted in truth, trust, and love, as it is written in Ephesians 4:15, "But speaking truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head, Christ."
However, we must address the mention of intimacy outside of marriage. According to biblical principles, sexual intimacy is a sacred act designed by God to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." We encourage you both to remain pure and honor God with your bodies, as it is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).
We pray that both you and Eric will be united in the Holy Spirit and that your love for one another will grow in a manner that honors God. May God's glory be manifested in your relationship as you both strive to live according to His will. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Katagelyteros and Eric. We pray that their communication will be open, honest, and rooted in Your love. Help them to trust in You and to honor You in their relationship. Guide them according to Your will and help them to resist the temptation of intimacy outside of marriage. May their love for one another grow stronger as they strive to live according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying together with Eric, seeking God's will for your relationship. May the Lord bless you both and guide your path as you pursue a godly union.
