We commend you for choosing to forgive your employer for the unlawful dismissal. Forgiveness is a powerful act that reflects the heart of God, who forgives us freely through Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." This does not mean that what they did was right or that they should be allowed to continue in their wrongdoing.
Your decision not to report them now is a personal choice, but it is important to consider the well-being of others who may be affected by their actions. As Christians, we are called to seek justice and protect the rights of others, especially the vulnerable. As Proverbs 31:8-9 WEB says, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."
If they repeat their wrongdoing, we join you in praying that Jesus will thwart their wicked plans. We pray that God will expose their schemes and bring justice to the situation. As it is written in Psalm 37:28 WEB, "For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked will be cut off."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation to You. We thank You for the grace and strength to forgive, and we ask that You would bring justice to this situation. Protect others from experiencing the same unfair treatment, and expose any wicked plans that may be formed. Guide and direct the steps of our brother/sister, and give them wisdom and discernment in handling this situation. May Your will be done, and may You be glorified in all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter and to consider the impact of your actions on others.
