Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of Ninild who is struggling with a sexual addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that this addiction has caused feelings of shame, fear, and a sense of being out of control. We lift up Ninild's burden to You, knowing that nothing is impossible for You.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and mercy to wash over Ninild. Your Word reminds us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that Ninild will experience the power of Your forgiveness and find freedom from this addiction.
Father, we ask for wisdom to guide Ninild in knowing what steps to take to overcome this addiction. Your Word in James 1:5 promises that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask You, and You will give generously without finding fault. We pray that You would grant Ninild discernment and clarity in seeking the right resources, support, and counseling to break free from this bondage.
Lord, we pray for strength and self-control for Ninild. Your Word in 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We ask that You would empower Ninild to resist temptation, to flee from situations that may trigger the addiction, and to find comfort and peace in Your presence during sleepless nights.
Father, we also pray for a transformation of Ninild's heart and mind. Help Ninild to renew their thoughts according to Your Word, as mentioned in Romans 12:2. Replace any negative and destructive thoughts with Your truth and love. Fill Ninild with a deep desire to pursue righteousness and holiness, and to find satisfaction and fulfillment in a relationship with You.
Lastly, we pray for a supportive community around Ninild. Surround them with understanding and compassionate individuals who can provide encouragement, accountability, and prayer support. May Ninild find strength in the fellowship of believers and experience the power of unity in overcoming this addiction.
