Beloved of All
I can't help but question but...we read in the Bible about judgement on unrepentant sinners eventually paying for their deeds. However, what I see appears to contradict what I read. I see people doing things that really hurt others who trusted them too...adultery, defrauding. And these aren't "mistakes" they're very intentional. Yet what I just as much see is that years later 5, 10, 20 years later the wrongdoer's life is the same and in fact is even picking up victories. We read God is a God of love but He is also a God of justice. Going by surface appearances, it's hard to see the justice part. Because the victim could have their life ruined in the now, yet 20 years later the wrongdoer is still waltzing around, seemingly Scott free. Are they getting away with it? Seems that way?

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of ###. Lord, we acknowledge that you are a God of love and justice. Your word teaches us that the wages of sin is death, and that you will render to every person according to their deeds. We understand that there will be a day of judgment for unrepentant sinners.

Father, ### is struggling with the apparent contradiction he sees between what he reads in the Bible and what he observes in the world. He sees people intentionally causing harm to others, yet their lives seem to go unpunished, even prospering. It is difficult for him to understand how justice is being served in these situations.

We pray, Lord, that you would grant ### wisdom and discernment to see beyond the surface appearances. Help him to trust in your perfect timing and justice. Remind him of your promise in Psalm 37:7, which says, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices."

Father, we ask that you would bring conviction and repentance to those who have intentionally caused harm to others. May they come to a place of genuine remorse and seek your forgiveness. We also pray for healing and restoration for the victims of these wrongdoings. Comfort them, Lord, and bring justice and restoration into their lives.

In all things, we trust in your sovereignty and your perfect plan. Help ### to find peace and assurance in knowing that you are a God who sees all things and will ultimately bring justice to every situation. We thank you for your love, mercy, and justice.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
