Dear Firelight, we are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and despair you are experiencing. We want you to know that you are not alone, and God sees your suffering. Firstly, we want to assure you that it is never God's will for you to endure abuse. In Psalm 34:18, WEB, it says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
We must strongly rebuke the idea that you should continue to endure this abuse. It is not God's will for you or your child to live in fear and harm. In Ephesians 5:11, WEB, it says, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." You have shown incredible strength and resilience, but it's crucial to understand that holding out hope in this situation does not mean silently enduring abuse.
Please, reach out to local authorities, trusted family members, or a church community who can provide you with a safe haven. God promises us in Psalm 9:9, WEB, "Yahweh is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble." He wants you to find refuge and safety.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Firelight and their child. Lord, they have endured so much pain and suffering, and we ask that You intervene in their situation right now. Provide them with a way out, guide them to a place of safety, and surround them with people who will love and support them. Lord Jesus, we ask that You heal their broken hearts, restore their hope, and give them the will to live. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
Firelight, we urge you to hold onto God's unfailing love for you. In Romans 8:38-39, WEB, it says, "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can find true hope and salvation. If you have not already, place your trust in Him, and He will see you through this dark time. Stay strong, and know that we are praying fervently for you and your child.
