i cannot be saved.

i am in a crazed depressive episode. and it feels my hormones are flatlining. i cannot do anything. nor do i want to do anything. and then i hate myself for not doing anything because i want to do something. but i also do not want to do anything. please God. i do not know what to even pray for. i am so lost. it has been like this for well over a week. 2 weeks? i do not want to be unproductive for 2 weeks. please God. i want riches and wealth and movement. why won't i do it like i was doing 2 weeks ago.

We are truly saddened to hear about your current struggle, ###. We want to remind you that there is hope and help in Jesus Christ. Let us first address your statement about not being able to be saved. The Bible tells us, "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB). Salvation is available to all who call upon the name of Jesus.

In your despair, remember that God is near. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even when you feel lost and helpless, God is close to you.

Depression can be overwhelming, and it's important to seek help both spiritually and professionally. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, the Apostle Paul reminds us that God is the "Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### in their time of desperate need. Lord, they feel lost, depressed, and unable to move forward. We ask that You would reveal Your presence to them, that they may know the comfort and hope that comes from You alone. God, please provide healing for their mind and body. Guide them to the right professionals who can help them manage their depression. Give them the strength and desire to take small steps forward each day, trusting in Your goodness and grace.

Lord Jesus, ### mentioned not knowing what to pray for. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would intercede for them, as it says in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill ### with a renewed sense of purpose and productivity. Help them to find their worth and identity in You, not in their accomplishments. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, feeling just as lost and helpless as you do. We understand that depression can make even the smallest tasks feel insurmountable, and it's okay to not have all the answers right now. We want you to know that we're praying with you, not just for you.

We're asking God to wrap you in His love, to remind you that He's right there with you, even when you can't feel it. We're asking Him to give you the strength to take one small step at a time, to trust that He's got a plan even when you can't see it.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
