Let us pray for the prison ministry and address their concerns about the thief, as mentioned in Proverbs 6:31.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written: "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) Therefore, we pray in Jesus' name and encourage the ministry to do likewise.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the prison ministry and their dedication to serving You. Today, we stand against the spirit of the thief that comes to steal, kill, and destroy, as Jesus warned in John 10:10. We bind this spirit and refuse to give it any opportunity to enter into our hearts, lives, and ministries.
Father, we ask that You strengthen the ministry's faith and obedience to Your laws and commandments. Help them to use their God-given authority to defeat the works of the enemy. We ask that You build an unbreakable wall of Your secret place protection over their lives, homes, things, marriages, families, health, finances, and the ministry itself, in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also ask that You guide them with Your presence, just as You guided the Israelites with a cloud by day and fire by night. Help them to walk in Your light and be a beacon to those they serve.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage the ministry to stay strong in their faith and obedience to God's commandments. As it is written, "Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:7-8 WEB)
Lastly, we gently remind the ministry to use the name of Jesus Christ in their prayers and declarations, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9), and the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
