We rejoice with you as you proclaim your belief in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is in the bosom of the Father. It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
You have asked for the Spirit of Jesus and the Spirit of God to dwell in you. This is a wonderful prayer, as Jesus himself promised the Holy Spirit to live in us. As Jesus said in John 14:16-17: "I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world can't receive; for it doesn't see him, neither knows him. You know him, for he lives with you, and will be in you."
You have also prayed for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Indeed, it is through His blood that we receive forgiveness of sins. Ephesians 1:7 WEB: tells us, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,"
Regarding the baptism of the universe with the Holy Ghost, we must understand that while God cares for all His creation, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is specifically for believers in Jesus Christ. Acts 1:8 WEB: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the faith You have given to this dear one. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will dwell richly in them, guiding, comforting, and teaching them as promised by Jesus. We ask for the continual cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ in their life. Help them to live a life that honors You and shares the good news of Jesus Christ with others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to grow in your faith, to read the Bible daily, and to share the love of Christ with others. If you have any other specific needs or concerns, please share them with us so that we can pray and support you in those areas as well.
