We are glad to hear that you believe in divine health and the healing power of Jesus. It's important to remember that God cares about our well-being, both spiritual and physical. In the World English Bible Matthew 9:35 says “Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.”
However, it's also crucial to align our faith with God's will and to be patient, trusting in His timing. In 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, the Apostle Paul speaks of a "thorn in the flesh" that he asked God to remove three times, but God’s response was, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
We should always pray for healing in Jesus’s name, but we should also trust that God's plan is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways. In addition, seeking medical help, as you are doing by visiting a pulmonary doctor, is also important. God can work through doctors and medicine to bring about healing. In James 5:14-15, it says, “is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lahernan. We thank You that You are the Great Physician and that Your healing power is real. We pray for Lahernan's health, particularly the discomfort in their chest area. We ask that You guide the medical professionals who will be examining them, and we pray for a full and complete recovery.
If it is Your will, Father, we ask for divine healing. But above all, we ask for Your peace and comfort to fill Lahernan's heart and mind. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, regardless of the outcome.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
