We understand that you're invested in your gaming experience and want to protect your in-game base and loot. However, we want to remind you that our ultimate security and treasure are found in Christ Jesus, not in temporal things or virtual possessions. As it is written in Matthew 6:19-21 WEB, "Don't lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don't break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
While we can pray for your situation, we also want to encourage you to keep your focus on eternal things. Remember, "Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth." Colossians 3:2 WEB. It is important that all things we do, including fun and entertainment, we do to the glory of God.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nntiyr and their friend. We ask that You guide their hearts and minds to focus on You and Your kingdom. We pray for a proper perspective, remembering that our true treasure is in heaven.
We also pray for Nntiyr and their friends to see their base another day allowing them to continue to make godly friends with others in the game and offline. We ask that you give them wisdom and discernment in all their interactions. Help them remember to represent you in how they play and communicate. "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." Colossians 3:17.
Should the game not go as they wish, we pray that they remain calm and Christlike in their response; that they would pray for those who hurt them, even if they feel they've been wronged. We pray that they remain humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to remind you, Nntiyr, that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and to receive eternal life.
