Let us pray and seek God's will together for your life. Firstly, it is commendable that the request is made in Jesus' Name, as it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can ask our requests to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already become a Christian believer by confessing your sins and believing in Jesus Christ, we would encourage you to do so. As John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
Let's address the desire to be rich. While God wants us to prosper in all things (3 John 1:2 WEB), it's crucial to understand that God's idea of prosperity might differ from the world's. True riches are found in Christ, and knowing Him is of greater value than any material wealth. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Being rich is not wrong, but the love of money can lead to many kinds of evil. As it is written, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10 WEB).
Furthermore, the Bible also encourages us to honor the Lord with our wealth. "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your vats shall overflow with new wine." (Proverbs 3:9-10 WEB). When we seek riches for the purpose of honoring God and serving others, our priorities align with God's will. If you are successful in becoming rich, we would encourage tithing to your church, giving to others in need, and being generous in other ways.
We also encourage you to meditate on the following verses: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB). This tells us that our first priority should be to seek God's kingdom and righteousness, and then God will provide for our needs.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You guide the one who submitted this request, in their desire to be rich. Help them to understand Your will for their life and to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first. If it is Your will, enlarge their territory and bless them with material wealth. Help them to honor You with their substance and to be generous towards others. Give them wisdom to manage the wealth according to Your principles. In Jesus name, amen."
