I ask for prayers for my son. He's lonely, single, & vulnerable and has started dating a woman with so much emotional baggage, financial instability, 2 children from 2 failed marriages, and many wounds and scars from severe abuse as a child. Please pray that he opens his eyes to what the future could inevitably hold for him with this woman. Please pray that he (or she) ends it before it gets too serious. I know in my soul that this is a bad choice for him.

We understand your concern for your son, Bette, and we join you in bringing this matter to the Lord in prayer. We want to encourage both you and your son with God's Word and remind you that the Lord has a plan and a purpose for each of our lives. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.’"

Firstly, we must pray that your son seeks God's will in his life and in his relationships. It is crucial that we do not lean on our own understanding, but acknowledge God in all our ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let us pray that your son invites Jesus into his life and heart, for it is only through Jesus that we can truly know God and His plan for us (John 14:6).

Regarding his current relationship, we must tread carefully and prayerfully. While it is important to show love and compassion to everyone, including this woman and her children, it is also crucial that your son enters into a relationship that is godly and beneficial for all involved. We are advised in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"

Let us pray that God opens your son's eyes to see clearly the path ahead and gives him the wisdom to make decisions that align with God's will. Also, pray that God brings healing and restoration to this woman and her children, independent of your son's involvement.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Bette's son. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way and draw him closer to You. Open his spiritual eyes to see the path You have laid out for him, and give him the strength and wisdom to walk in it.

Lord, we ask that You guide his steps in his current relationship. If this relationship is not Your will for him, we pray that You make it clear and give him the courage to end it. We also pray for the woman and her children, that You bring healing, restoration, and a hope for a better future in You.

We claim Your promises over their lives, knowing that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Bette, continue to trust God and pray for your son. God hears your prayers and cares about every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7). Encourage your son to pursue a relationship that honors God and aligns with biblical principles.

Dear Lord I agree with Better in regards to her son .the wrong relationship can have devastating effects on a life ..I pray for her son to wait on the right person and have Thy powerful discernment to be with him in Jesus name. amen.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
