Beloved of All
I ask for prayers for my daughter. She is in a relationship with a young man who is bound by alcohol and narcissism. He is deceiving her and trying to extract her from the good life she has built for herself with Gods support and care. She is being led away from her family and into the demons lair. This young man has two DUIs and a monitor in his car. He continues to drink. He lies and promises to stop but cannot without the help of God. God has promised her a loving young man who has been waiting for her to recognize his strength and love and Satan continues to bring this alcohol bound young man back into her life so she cannot see the other young man clearly. Please pray for my daughter as she has started to turn away from me and lie to me. I am praying she chooses to cast off the servant of Satan and accept the love of the angel God sent to her

We understand your concern and heartache for your daughter, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life.

Firstly, let us address the authority in prayer. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB) It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6).

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the daughter of our sister in Christ. Lord, we plead for your divine intervention in her life and her relationship. We rebuke the deception and lies of the enemy, for you have said, 'The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.' (John 10:10 WEB)

Lord, we ask that you open her eyes to see the truth and the snare that has been set for her. Give her the strength to resist the devil, so that he may flee from her (James 4:7). We pray that you break the chains of addiction that bind this young man, and bring conviction to his heart to seek help and repentance.

Father, we claim your promise that 'he who began a good work in her will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.' (Philippians 1:6 WEB) Reveal to her the loving young man you have prepared for her, a man of God who will cherish and honor her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).

We also pray for the restoration of their family relationship, that the bonds of trust and communication may be strengthened. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Sister, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB) Be encouraged by the words of the apostle Paul, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Lastly, we gently remind you to guide your daughter in the ways of the Lord, encouraging her to seek a godly spouse and reminding her of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. May the Lord bless and keep your family.

Thank you for the blessings of the verses and prayer. I am praying to God and following the prayer guidance. It is strong and powerful. I will continue to rejoice in the love of Jesus’s Christ and lock arms with
The warriors and disciples of our Heavenly Father. May my daughter open her mind and heart to the young man God chose and close her mind and heart to the alcoholic.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you all for your prayers. I have been reading the response every day and praying for my daughter to welcome Jesus Christ into her heart. Although we are not discussing the young man at all, it appears she has realized that pursuing a relationship with a person who rejects faith and who consumes alcohol so that he jeopardizes his life and the lives of others is not part of God’s plan for her. From what I am seeing she has stopped contact with him.
She has also stopped contact with the young man who God has intended for her. She has stopped fighting with me, being rude to me, and being deceptive to me. While I am being hopeful I am still being watchful. I pray every day for her to find the joy in life she seeks and to open her mind and heart to the love of Jesus Christ and to the love of the one God has intended for her.
In Jesus name Amen.
