Amen! Claiming Ezekiel 13:20 for Genesis. God will tear away all magic charms and set you free! "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge" (Ps 91:4). Trusting His protection!
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking prayer for sleep and rest. We acknowledge that you are the giver of all good gifts, including peaceful sleep and rejuvenating rest.
Lord, we ask that you would grant our friend a deep and uninterrupted sleep tonight. Calm their mind and body, releasing any anxiety or restlessness that may be hindering their ability to sleep. Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8 that you alone can make us dwell in safety and peace as we lie down to sleep. We claim this promise for our friend, trusting that you will guard their sleep and provide them with the rest they need.
We also pray for physical and emotional restoration during their sleep. May your healing touch bring refreshment to their body, mind, and spirit. In Psalm 127:2, you remind us that it is in vain to rise up early and go late to rest, for you give to your beloved sleep. We ask that you would grant our friend the gift of rejuvenating rest, so that they may wake up feeling renewed and energized.
Lord, we recognize that you are the ultimate source of peace and rest. We ask that you would pour out your peace upon our friend, calming any anxious thoughts or worries that may be keeping them awake. Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us to bring our anxieties to you in prayer, and promises that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
