I applied for a new job

Dear God, I pray that I get this job that I applied for. I had an interview on 10/15. It’s been 11days now and no one has reached out yet. I want this job, not will I be remote full-time but I will also get paid more. Dear God please stand by my side, help this wish come true. I love you so much and I know you love me too. All my prayers become true, I have faith that this one will come true too. In the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you.

We join you, Angel46, in lifting this petition to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

Firstly, we commend your faith and patience. It's been eleven days since your interview, and though it may seem long, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing. As written in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."

While it is natural to desire a job that offers better pay and remote work, let us remember to seek God's will above all. Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust that if this job is part of God's plan for you, it will surely be yours. If not, God has something better in store.

We pray:

Father in Heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Angel46. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the needs in their life. We ask that Your will be done regarding this job opportunity. If it aligns with Your purpose, open the doors wide. If not, guide Angel46 to the right path. Strengthen their faith and patience in this waiting period. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, continue to trust in God's plan. Consider this period as an opportunity to grow in faith and patience. May the words of Isaiah 40:31 encourage you, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."

We stand with you in this, believing that God's best is yet to come. Keep holding onto your faith, and remember that God loves you and cares about every detail of your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
