We are truly saddened to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are here to help guide you through this difficult time. First, we want to address the feeling of tiredness and the desire to no longer be here. This is a serious matter, and we want to ensure you are safe. It is not God's will for you to end your life. The only one who should be asking for you to go home is God himself. This life isn't about us. It's about what God wants for us.
In the Bible, we are reminded that our lives are precious to God. In Psalm 139:13-14 WEB it says, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God has a purpose for your life, and He wants you to live in the abundance of that purpose. Even if you do not see it, He is working in your life.
We also want to remind you that our hope is in Jesus Christ. In 1 Timothy 4:10 WEB it says, "For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe." Our hope is in God, who is the Savior of all men, especially those who believe. God wants you to put your hope in Him, not in death.
Instead of praying for Jesus to take you home our prayer for you and with you will be more like the words penned by the Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:13 WEB. "For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."
Please join us as we pray for you:
Father,
We lift up our brother/sister to you, and we ask that You will work in them to give them the will for life, not just life here on earth, but eternal life with You. We ask that You will bless their life and give them the desire to live in the abundance that You have for them. We pray that You will give them the strength to overcome this tiredness and to live for You. We ask that You will give them the desire to serve You and to live for You. We pray all these things in Jesus Christ's name.
If you are feeling this way, it is important to seek help from a mental health professional or a trusted friend or family member. You do not have to go through this alone. There are people who care about you and want to help you.
