I am the sole full time caregiver for my 72 yr old wife. I am in poor physical condition myself. She has advanced Parkinson's & early dementia. We have very limited income. I feel so very alone, I have lost all faith in god. Even with her dementia she still has faith in god. I am losing my mind & strength. I wish god would please take me from this earth, I can't go on. I have to be here for her every minute, helping her to eat, bathing her, etc. Maybe someone can reach god for me

I assure you the Lord is right there with you. According to 1Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Find residency in His word- "I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me." PHP 4:13. You say your wife still maintains her faith. That amazement IN YOU, has lead your faith to grow.......are not "here" seeking the Lords' guidance? There is purpose in all He does. Lean not on YOUR own understanding. In times as you express are your current- "And about this thing I made request to the Lord three times that it might be taken away from me. And he said to me, My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble. Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me. So I take pleasure in being feeble, in unkind words, in needs, in cruel attacks, in troubles, on account of Christ: for when I am feeble, then am I strong." (1 Cor 12:8-10, Bible in Basic English).

Have courage. and god will give you the strength that you need . There are different supports availiable for you in dealing with your wifes illness I am unsure which country you are in however if you look up www.alzscot.org you will see some helpful information. you will also be able to contact the 24 hour helpline and this will give you someone to talk to who will have insight and understanding into your wifes dementia and your support needs as her carer.They may be able to put you in touch or recommend a link to an organisation in your country if you are not in Scotland u.k who can help.

It is important for you and your wife to live in the present moment. What is gone is past what is in the future hasnt happened yet. its the present moment that is important. Stay strong. There is a uk based number that you could call it is manned 24/7 08088083000.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I am asking that mercy be shown to this man and his wife. The law of mercy supersedes the law of sin and death in the spiritual realm, and Your mercies are new every morning. In the name of Jesus, I break the power of dementia off this wife, whose trust is in the Lord, in Jesus' name, and I bind her to the truth of God's word that she has not received the spirit of this world, but the spirit which is of God, and there is no dementia in the Spirit of God, but the promise of the mind of Christ. Holy Spirit, quicken the word of God to her and to her husband, and infuse and impart to him the ability to be strong in You, Lord, and in the power of Your might...I thank you for the blood of Christ that purges his conscience from dead works to serve the living God. I speak strength, and hope and hope over his life. I loose the lie from him that there is no hope for him in God, for the Lord is his strength and his salvation; whom shall he fear? the Lord is the strength of his life; of whom shall he be afraid? Father, I ask that you would thrust laborers into the paths of this couple and that every hindrance that stops him from getting the help he needs will be cast out of the way. Give him thoughts and ideas, and let strength be restored to him, for Lord, you are his glory and the lifter of his head. Release your angels to go forth and minister to him and his wife as they are heirs of salvation. I thank you for these things, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Dear Friend hold on to Gods unchanging hand! i work in an adult day care center. There are many situations where a spouse brings in his or her partner. I assure you that we show love and chelp he are for each client as they were our own.

I pray in the name of Jesus you would send this dear man the help he needs. The devil is a liar, this man has not lost faith because he is here asking for prayer and seeking you. I come in agreement with the friends above as we stand on your word in agreement united in prayer for this man and his wife.
