I am struggling with rapid weight gain. I have a hormone disorder and sleep apnea, so traditional methods of losing weight that works for others do not work for me. My stomach rumbles every day but the scale seems to creep up. All of my clothes do not fit me anymore. My doctors seem to want to prescribe medication with risky side effects and that my insurance will not even cover. I have sleep apnea, and the bigger I am the more I am adversely affected by it. I am afraid that not only do I worry about the health effects, I worry about my appearance and this vanity has become an idol. Please pray for me to gain discernment from the Holy Spirit about what will help me overcome these. I hope for strength and willpower to continue working out and eating the right foods. Please pray for my obstacles to be overcome. If it is God's will for me to be this way, please pray for me to embrace humility and acceptance of His plan for me.
