That God contends with those that contend with ### and fight with those that are fighting with him to distract him from his God given destiny. We join with you, ###, in pleading for mercy and grace for your son ###. We stand in agreement with you, knowing that the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). We will pray without ceasing, as the Scriptures instruct us (1 Thessalonians 5:17, WEB).

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace for ###. Lord, You know the plans You have for him, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). But Father, we see that the enemy is contending with ###, trying to distract him from the destiny You have for him. So we ask, Lord, that You contend with those that contend with him and fight against those that fight against him (Psalm 35:1, WEB). Break the chains of the enemy, and let Your deliverance be upon him.*

*We rebuke the wandering spirit that is tormenting him, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, giving him the power to overcome and the strength to stand firm in his faith.*

*We pray all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.*

Encourage ### to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, and to trust in Him, even in the midst of his struggles. Lastly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Jesus is our mediator, and it is through Him that our prayers are heard (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). So let us always pray in His name, knowing that there is power in the name of Jesus. If ### has not yet committed his life to Jesus, encourage him to do so, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
