Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of concern and anxiety for our dear friend, Sylcar. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift up Sylcar to You now, asking for Your peace and healing touch.
Father, You know the fear and worry that Sylcar is experiencing while waiting for the biopsy results and the upcoming ultrasound. We ask that You would calm these anxious thoughts and grant a sense of Your overwhelming peace. Your word tells us to cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). Help Sylcar to place every worry and fear into Your capable hands.
Lord, we pray for the doctors and medical professionals who are involved in Sylcar’s care. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they analyze the results and provide treatment. We ask for good news, that the biopsy and ultrasound would show no signs of cancer. But above all, we trust in Your perfect will and Your loving plan for Sylcar’s life.
Father, we also lift up Sylcar’s mental health. The weight of anxiety and depression is heavy, and we ask that You would lift this burden. Your word reminds us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen Sylcar’s mind and spirit, and bring comfort and clarity during this challenging time.
We pray for Sylcar’s family, for the husband and the 9-year-old twins who need their loved one. Lord, provide the strength and energy needed to be there for them. Surround this family with Your love and support, and let them feel Your presence in their home.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray.
Amen.
