We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we are claiming this Case for God. As His children, we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us. It is encouraging to see that you have acknowledged the lordship of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. We also need to be clear to remember that we need our Lord's trust to guide us and change our emotions to match the Holy Spirit. Our Lord is our strong Advocate and He will not lose His Case. Yet we must trust Him even when the outcome makes no sense to us and when the trial takes an unlooked-for turn.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in His mighty name.
Father we state our brother's situation metaphorically as a "Case" like a criminal case in a court. Our brother is confessing and admitting "sick" and "overwhelmed" metaphorically like any impaired or intoxicated person might feel as they might say and/or exhibit as they might outwardly emote, possibly, to the police. It may feel as if an enemy has burst forth at them like an flood and/or there are enemies unknown to them humiliating them as a court case may feel demeaning to the accused. And, yes, as our brother has confessed, in reality, our earthly desperate feelings do not move God, and there is no darkness in heaven. Thus our brother should now praise God for putting this trial in our brother's path. God may be trying to humble our brother and lead him to repentance for some purpose. By the power of Christ's blood and His resurrection we have the victory. In the Word it is written, 'Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.'
Father in the name of Jesus Christ we ask that you bring Justice to this "Case" however Your Will must be done. Now as we wait on our verdict we must not forget our Lord's trust as it is one of the the fruits of the Spirit. In Galatians WEB it is written, 'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. ' these nine virtues comprise the fruit and there a fruit of the Holy Spirit and Statute of Christ. Our brother is commanded to trust and to flee towards His Strength his Rock, his fortress, his deliverer, his shield in whom he takes Refuge.
"Therefore we declare we do not submit again to a yoke of bondage. For you, brethren, were called for freedom.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts, you double-minded.
We agree in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and that Jesus is Lord over and in all things.
We encourage you to stay strong in the Lord, for His power is made perfect in weakness. Stand firm in your faith and be watchful for there is joy in the morning. We stand with you armored with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the shield of faith. We take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit and keep on praying for all the saints. And we claim victory in the name of Jesus. We are not alone in this, God is our salvation and the Angel of the Lord encamps round about those who fear Him. He delivers them.
And remember Amos 5:24, where the Lord says to let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream. So do not be discouraged and be reminded that we are praying for
your
Do not give up, for with God all things are possible.
We submit this prayer to the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Double Amen."
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you and His will and promise will prevail. We are praying for you and your family. This is a time for God's amazing Grace as He is working on our brother's behalf as this case is unfolding.
