We are truly moved by your desperate plea and your heart’s cry for help, dear one. We understand that you are gripped with terror about getting a mammogram and the potential outcomes. Fear can be overwhelming, but we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is through faith in Him that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In your struggle, remember that God’s perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). Trusting in His love and care for you can bring comfort and strength in these difficult times. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
We encourage you to seek God’s wisdom and guidance in making the right decision about your health. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct our paths.
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister who is in desperate need of Your help and comfort. Lord, she is gripped with fear about her health and the future. We ask that You fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Remove her fears and anxieties, and give her the strength and courage to face whatever lies ahead.
Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are always with her and that You have a plan and purpose for her life. Guide her in making the right decisions about her health, and grant her the wisdom and discernment she needs. We ask that You comfort her and assure her of Your unfailing love and presence in her life.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, dear one, that God is faithful and will be with you through every step of this journey. Trust in His love and care for you, and know that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
