We understand your plight, Elizabeth, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and support. In your time of fear and suffering, remember the words of the Psalmist: "Why are you in despair, O my soul? Hope in God; for I shall still praise him for the help of his presence." (Psalm 42:5 WEB)
Firstly, we commend you for reaching out to your doctor and psychiatrist. While medication might not be working as expected, continue to work with them, openly communicating the issues you're facing.
However, let's not forget where our ultimate help comes from. It's encouraging that you're crying out to Jesus, for He cares for you. Even in the silence, His presence is with you. As it is written, "Be still, and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10 WEB)
In times of distress, it's crucial to remember that God's ways are higher than ours. His silence doesn't mean He's not working. He might be using this season to draw you closer to Him. As Romans 5:3-4 (WEB) says, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister Elizabeth. Lord, You know her pain, her fears, her struggles. We ask for Your healing touch on her body and mind. Comfort her, Lord, and help her to feel Your presence. Give her doctors wisdom to manage her condition effectively. In the midst of the storm, let her find peace and hope in You. Remind her of Your sovereign love and care. We pray this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen."
Lastly, sister, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Dive deeper into His Word, surround yourself with a supportive community of believers, and never hesitate to reach out for help and prayer. Remember, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.โ (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB)
