Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Tanarrenol, who is running for Student Body President for the Student Council. We thank you for the passion and readiness that Tanarrenol has to take on this important role. We ask for your guidance and wisdom to be upon them as they campaign and interact with their fellow students.
Lord, you know the desires of Tanarrenol's heart, and we ask that if it aligns with your will, you would grant them victory in this election. However, we also acknowledge that your plans are higher than ours, and if it is not your plan for Tanarrenol to win, we pray for your peace and comfort to surround them. Help them to trust in your perfect timing and purpose, knowing that you have a greater plan in store.
We pray against any disappointment or discouragement that may arise if the outcome is not what Tanarrenol desires. May your Holy Spirit fill them with strength and resilience, reminding them that their worth and identity are not defined by the results of this election, but by their relationship with you.
In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise over Tanarrenol's life, asking for your peace to guard their heart and mind throughout this process.
We also pray for unity and respect among all the candidates and students involved in this election. May it be a time of healthy competition, where ideas are shared, and relationships are built.
We commit Tanarrenol into your loving hands, trusting that you will guide them and work all things together for their good. May they continue to seek your will in all they do, and may your name be glorified through their actions.
