Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our dear brother Ethenn, who is a refugee from Somalia and is in need of help. Lord, you are the God who sees and knows the struggles and challenges that Ethenn is facing. We lift him up to you, knowing that you are a compassionate and loving God who cares for the vulnerable and the displaced.
Lord, we pray that you would provide for Ethenn's needs. You are the provider of all things, and we ask that you open doors of opportunity for him to find the assistance and support he requires. Guide him to organizations, resources, and individuals who can offer him the help he needs to navigate this difficult season of his life.
Father, we also pray for protection over Ethenn. As a refugee, he may face many dangers and uncertainties. We ask that you surround him with your divine protection, keeping him safe from harm and providing him with a place of refuge and security.
Lord Jesus, we know that you understand the pain and suffering of those who are displaced and seeking refuge. You yourself were a refugee, fleeing to Egypt with your earthly parents. We ask that you would draw near to Ethenn in his time of need, comforting him and giving him strength to endure.
In your Word, you promise to be a refuge and a stronghold for those who trust in you. We claim this promise for Ethenn today, asking that you would be his shelter and his fortress. Help him to find peace and hope in the midst of his circumstances, knowing that you are with him every step of the way.
We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus, who is our advocate and intercessor. Amen.
