I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, seeking your support and prayers for a situation that has arisen in my family. Recently, my mother, who owns some land in her native place, has been facing financial stress and is considering selling this land. The land was originally obtained by my paternal grandfather nearly 100 years ago through a lease arrangement. At that time, the land consisted of three parts: two parts belonged to the church, and the remaining part belonged to a board. Over the years, my grandfather transferred one part of the land that belonged to the church to another party. However, after some time, that part was returned to the church. Following my grandfather's passing, the remaining two parts of the land were inherited by my mother and her sister. Approximately 30 years ago, an official government resurvey of the land confirmed their ownership. Now, as my mother seeks to sell the land due to financial difficulties, unexpected opposition has arisen from the church committee. It is important to note that the opposition primarily comes from a single party, which represents a considerably smaller portion of the land that originated from the church side. In this trying time, we humbly request your prayers for divine guidance and resolution. Please pray for wisdom and understanding to prevail among all parties involved. May God soften the hearts of those who oppose the sale and grant them clarity to see the pressing financial needs that my mother is facing. We also pray for a fair and just resolution that will bring peace and alleviate the financial burden my mother is experiencing. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and the strength of a united faith. Your support through prayer will provide us with the comfort and hope we need during this challenging situation. We are currently facing a challenging situation regarding this piece of land that has been a source of burden and uncertainty.
Throughout my mother's life, her father diligently cultivated this land and provided a lease share to the church. She recalls despite the difficulties he sold his other lands to continue the cultivation, he chose to support the local community by not taking away employment opportunities. However, the weight of this land has become overwhelming for my mother, and she desires to be free from its hold if its not for us. We firmly believe that without the Lord, we have nothing, for He is the source of our true riches. We trust in His providence and seek His will in this matter. We are open to Gods plan on this land regarding if we can sell it. We desire guidance and clarity to discern the right path, whether it involves selling the land or following an alternative course according to His leadership.
In light of this, we would be grateful if you could join us in prayer. Your presence and intercession would provide comfort, strength, and spiritual guidance during this challenging time. Together, let us seek God's wisdom, surrender our attachment to worldly possessions, and trust in His divine plan.
