I am praying that my husband wins his appeal in prison for a disciplinary hearing he had almost 2 months ago. He has been incarcerated
for about 5 years and has had no disciplinary actions against him until he was transferred to this facility. One of the counselors attempted to have a sexual relationship with him and since he did not go with it she has been making it difficult to visit him and instructing her co workers (other counselors and guards) to harass me when I do visit. I submitted a complaint to the warden and they did not like that - they set my husband up stating he had a knife and was sharpening it - by the time he had the disciplinary hearing they changed the weapon to 2 ice picks. he lost 3 months of good time - as well as all means of communication except visits. Then while they had him in the SHU he go in trouble for coving himself up while using the bathroom since the toilets in the SHU have no privacy. The female counselor wrote him up and I can't understand why she would want to see a man using the bathroom. This whole situation has made me learn to forgive and to read my bible more. I am very sad and worried about him. I am praying that he wins his appeal and he is released in the spring instead of the end of the summer. We have been waiting a long time for him to come home and are very anxious for his return. I am praying for this in Jesus name. Amen
