We understand your heartache and your search for peace, Vadranir. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's comfort and guidance for you.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:27 (WEB), "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." This peace that Jesus offers is not merely the absence of trouble, but a deep, abiding peace that guards our hearts and minds, even in the midst of sadness and difficulty.
We pray for you, Vadranir:
Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Vadranir to You. We ask that You fill their heart with Your peace. Comfort them in their sadness, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Vadranir, regarding your feelings of inadequacy at work, remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). It's okay not to know everything. God values humility and a willingness to learn. Keep pressing on, and trust that God has a purpose and a plan for you.
Concerning the loss of your mother, we understand that the pain can still be raw, even after many years. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will comfort you and bind up the wounds of your loss.
You questioned why God keeps you here. Know this: God has a purpose and a plan for your life. He knows the number of hairs on your head (Luke 12:7 WEB), and you are precious to Him. You are not useless or unimportant. Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) says, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to know that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as your Lord and Savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your peace, comfort, and guidance. Amen.
