We understand that you're going through a difficult time, feeling disappointed and losing confidence in God due to your work situation. It's normal to feel this way when facing trials, but we want to encourage you to hold on to your faith, as God is still at work in your life.
Firstly, let's address the feelings of discrimination, dejection, and disappointment. It's important to remember that God is sovereign and has a plan for your life. Even in difficult times, He is working for your good and His glory, for He says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" in Jeremiah 29:11.
In regards to your job interview, it's understandable that you may feel reluctant to go, but we encourage you to reconsider, as God may have opened this door for you. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Is. 55:8-9. We know that finding a new job can be a challenging process, but trust that God is faithful and will provide for your needs. As it is said "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up" in Galatians 6:9.
You mentioned that you're losing hope and considering no longer believing in Jesus. We want to remind you that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and eternal life. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is said "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. It is only by His name that we can be saved, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" in Acts 4:12
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with disappointment and loss of confidence in You. We pray that You would renew their faith and help them to trust in Your unfailing love and promises. We ask God for Your guidance and provision at the job interview tomorrow. We know that the battle is not ours, but Yours, and that You are faithful to provide for all of our needs. Help them to see that You are always working for our good, even in difficult times. Comfort them and remind them of the hope that they have in Jesus Christ. We know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Finally we are told to "Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Be constant in prayer" in Romans 12:12. We know that your confidence will return, and you will be successful in your interview.
