Brothers and sisters,
This will be a long one because I believe in Jesus, I believe in prayer. It seems like my life is all over the place, not only with college but with my depression, anxiety, and family. I am not the only one who is struggling though, it is my mother (Lakeisha) My brothers, (Cheyse and Caleb) My baby sister (Kalanii) and my aunt, cousin, and grandmother (Lawanda, Alexis, and Roslyn)
This is my immediate family. We have no one else praying for us as the entire family is chaotic. My immediate family suffers from depression especially after losing my uncle. It really put us through a lot, and we all suffered because of it. Fast forward to now the family has become dysfunctional and seems to be under attack.
My youngest brother Caleb is intrigued with things he should not be, and with a lifestyle/environment he never grew up in. He will not finish his schoolwork and has physically harmed me and my mother. I pray that this 16 yr old boy finds his way back to Jesus and that he shapes and molds him into the man he truly is.

My brother Cheyse who is 19 is autistic, and depressed and suffers from BPD. He is currently enrolled in college, and I pray that he can complete all his classes successfully and graduate and live a fulfilling life. I also pray Jesus works on his attitude as it can be unpleasant.

My mother Lakeisha has been through so much after losing her brother, she is still very depressed but on top of that worries about my brothers fighting, Caleb not doing his work, and worrying about his future. Since he seems not to care. She just finished her master’s in teaching and is ready to get a job. She also had my baby sister Kalanii in September of 2019; it was a hard pregnancy. I pray that Jesus helps her find her purpose and that he brings her peace mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

As for my grandmother (66), aunt (60), and cousin (26). They are pretty much in good shape and peaceful people. I pray that the Lord continues to protect them, and I pray for their health as well. I pray that the Lord continues to be with my grandmother as she misses her son. I pray that the Lord helps them find their next chapter in life.

My sister Kalanii. She is 1 years old and is so smart and full of life, but she developed enlarged lymph nodes that became a bit bigger. They are smaller than a golf ball. She has had a lot of blood work done, she has seen a specialist, surgeon and is getting more blood work done next week as her blood levels are rising bit by bit. We also noticed one of the lymph nodes is a bit harder. I pray I pray I pray for the health of my baby sister. Please pray that whatever is causing the swelling can be resolved and that the natural order of my family goes. I pray for no more tragedy. Please pray for my family. I am begging you.

For me (23), I have a lot of issues, also involving my health. I am depressed and anxious most of the time. When any issue arises, like in my sisters’ case I cannot sleep, eat, or think. My depression came after my uncle died at the age of 7 with his funeral being on my birthday. I feel lost and everything just does not seem clear. I overthink and contemplate my past and future, never really living in the present. I lack motivation and just feel [hopeless] I pray that Jesus helps me with that, and my goals in life. I pray he helps me to get back to whom I used to be. The person he made me to be. I pray that Jesus removes me from the prison of depression, for myself and my family. I pray for my health, That Jesus heals me. I pray that he gives me the strength to get my degree and move forward in life.
