We understand that you're struggling with a bondage to impure love and it's affecting your marriage. First, we commend you for your repentance and desire to be free. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and set free. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. God's will is for you to be pure and holy, and He has provided a way out through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is bound by impure love. Lord, he has repented and turned to You for help. We stand with him, claiming Your promise that "if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
We rebuke Satan's attempts to steal, kill, and destroy this marriage. Jesus, You have come to give life, and life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We claim Your promise that "whoever commits sin is the bondservant of sin." (John 8:34 WEB) and that "if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36 WEB). Please deliver our brother from this bondage and restore his marriage.
Guide him as he seeks You through fasting and prayer. Strengthen him with Your Spirit, and help him to put to death the deeds of the body (Romans 8:13 WEB). Give him a renewed love for his wife as You intend for marriage to be (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God's Word tells us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). It is only by being drastic and fleeing that we can overcome. Also, be encouraged by Galatians 5:1 WEB, "For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."
Stay strong in the Lord, keep repenting and believing in Jesus Christ, and He will deliver you. Don't forget to continue in fellowship with other believers for support and accountability (Hebrews 10:25 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in God's Word, which says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
